Built by listening
Before shipping, we studied hundreds of recent reviews, forum threads and issue trackers from keyboard users in English, Japanese and Italian. Copaky's scope comes from what people actually ask a keyboard for — not from a feature checklist.
- A clipboard history that lives on your device and needs no cloud account — the single most-requested keyboard feature out there.
- Typing that never demands Full Access: core input works without it, and the clipboard tab is strictly opt-in.
- Options instead of impositions: optional number hints on the top letter row (long-press to type the digit), and gestures you can switch off.
- Accent input that respects real usage — long-press the vowels, with the common accents first (è before é).
- Free, with no ads, no subscription and no account. Your dictionary and your history stay yours.
Development status — August 2026.
Copaky passed its first on-device round on iPhone 17 (iOS 26): the offline clipboard works
end-to-end, and the App Store listing is fully prepared. Next: final on-device checks,
a signed TestFlight beta, then an App Store release in English and 日本語.
Copaky is a fork of azooKey (MIT) by Keita Miwa (ensan)
and contributors, reworked around a strict on-device, no-network model. Thank you, azooKey.
