What the beta is today

Copaky's beta today runs on TestFlight, inside a small internal testing group — there is no public sign-up yet. A public TestFlight beta, with a link anyone will be able to use to join, is planned for after the next build (build 9) is out.

How to take part

The public sign-up form isn't live yet — until then, joining is limited to Copaky's existing internal testers.

What to try

The current build answers the first round of real-usage feedback. If you're on the beta, here's what's worth trying:

• New defaults on a fresh install: English and Italian start on QWERTY (Japanese stays flick), the suggestion bar hides when there's nothing to show, and the bottom row matches Apple's own layout — a wide space bar, return as an icon, no period key next to space.
• Double-tapping the space bar now types a period and a space, the same way the system keyboard does; hitting backspace right after restores the two spaces.
• The optional cursor slide on the space bar now has three speeds (slow, medium, fast) — try them, including while composing Japanese text.
• Clipboard history opens with a long press on the main number key; the other shortcut keys can be switched back on from Settings.
• If you tried the experimental autocorrect before and saw a valid word get replaced by mistake, give it another try — it now ignores words your phone had "learned" incorrectly.
• With VoiceOver on, the delete key should now be announced as "Delete" in every language.

How to send feedback

The easiest way is straight from TestFlight: shake your phone, or use the feedback button in the TestFlight app, to attach a screenshot to your report. For anything else — or if you prefer email — write to [email protected]; reports with steps to reproduce are especially helpful.

Privacy

The beta follows the same privacy policy as the rest of Copaky: nothing you type or copy ever leaves your device. See the Privacy Policy.

Known limits

• This pre-release is iPhone-only; iPad support is planned for a later version.
• The autocorrect option is still experimental and off by default while it's being refined.
• Neural conversion (Zenzai) is on the roadmap but not part of this build.
• An experimental system paste option exists behind a setting, off by default — it hasn't been confirmed yet on a real iPhone, so it's not recommended for everyday use.
• TestFlight builds expire after a while; when that happens, you'll need the next invite to keep testing.
